A Proper Thanksgiving Feast

I just got back from a proper Thanksgiving dinner at Oxford. I really didn't think I missed Thanksgiving all that much until I saw those piles of turkey, mounds of stuffing and potatoes, pots of gravy, sweet potatoes, cornbread, and all those pumpkin pies.

Oxford is extremely quiet compared to central London, as one might imagine. We actually passed someone wearing horseriding boots and one of those caps with the chin straps on our way to dinner. I've seen a homeless man dressed as a woman selling 'The Big Issue' on Aldwych, but never anyone wearing horseriding gear in town.

So, with all that tryptophan in my bloodstream, I think it's time for me to go to bed, content in the fact that I've had a proper Thanksgiving feast.
