Another First Day of School

Yesterday was my 6th first day at a new school; by this point in my education I've gotten pretty good at these first days. They used to be about filling in forms and calling the roll, and then first days were spent, exclusively, collecting syllabuses.

Yesterday was the most strenuous first day I’ve had, so far as I can remember. Actually, now that I think about it, I imagine that starting the 6th and 9th grades were strenuous experiences in their own ways. On my first day as a Philosophy student, we got into Abortion, Apologising, and Aristotle. These were big topics for the first day of class, though I’m not sure if the year will continue to follow in alphabetic suit.
